The price of high speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 2.40 per liter while it has been decided to maintain the price of petrol.

According to sources, petroleum products The decision has been taken in consultation with the Prime Minister.
The government has decided that the price of paddy will not be increased.
This decision has been taken by the government for 15 days.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), which sets oil and gas prices in Pakistan, had proposed a reduction in the prices of petroleum products from October 1.
Crude oil prices have fallen in the market.
The prices of petroleum products should be reduced by 3 to 4 percent per liter.
OGRA recommended that prices could be maintained by increasing the rate of petroleum levy.
OGRA has proposed a reduction of up to Rs 2 per liter in petrol and diesel prices.
The Finance Ministry will make a final announcement on the prices of petroleum products today.
It may be recalled that earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan had rejected the proposal to increase the prices of petroleum products.
On July 30, OGRA had sent a proposal to the government to increase the price of petrol by Rs 7 and diesel by Rs 8 per liter.
Apart from petrol and diesel, OGRA had also proposed increase in prices of kerosene and light diesel.
OGRA had sent proposals on the basis of petroleum levy of Rs 30 per liter.
