ISLAMABAD: PEMRA has ordered TV channels not to broadcast Nawaz Sharif's speech or statement on TV.

According to the PEMRA notification, no speech or statement of any accused will be aired till the hearing of pending cases.

According to media reports, in the notification issued by PEMRA, TV channels have been instructed that Nawaz Sharif is a notorious criminal, his warrants have been issued by the court.

No speech or statement of the former prime minister will be aired till the verdict of his case is decided.

۔ It is to be noted that the Federal Ministers have opposed the broadcast of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif's speech in the All Parties Conference (APC).

Prime Minister Imran Khan's Special Assistant Nadeem Afzal Chan had said in a private TV interview that the government should ban the broadcasting of Nawaz Sharif's statements.

It should be noted that Nawaz Sharif was allowed to speak in the APC on the orders of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Imran Khan had said at the request of the ministers that not broadcasting anyone's speech was against freedom of expression.

Prime Minister Imran Khan had said after Nawaz Sharif's speech in APC that Nawaz Sharif exposed himself with his speech.
